My Purpose....

I was born to reflect the image of a God who is powerful enough to create my universe, attentive enough to hear my prayers and cries, and loving enough to send His son to come live on earth as one of us, die for our transgressions and then conquer sin and death by His resurrection.
I find my greatest fulfillment in life by being on a journey toward knowing who God and His son Jesus Christ are, and sharing that journey with others.

SpiritualityMy God loves without restraint... VitalityMy Life is a gift to be valued... ServiceMy World is a place where people find hope...

Our Beliefs

Seventh-day Adventist beliefs are meant to permeate our whole lives. Growing out of scriptures that paint a compelling portrait of God, we are invited to explore, experience and know the One who desires to make us whole.

If you are new to the Knoxville area, or are just visiting, we'd love to meet you when you come fellowship with us. We hope you will experience God's presence in our church and that you'll enjoy fellowshipping with our members and other visitors. We are all here to worship God and develop a closer and more meaningful relationship with our personal Saviour, Jesus Christ.
We look forward to meeting you an may God bless you.
"It was a hard thing last Sabbath (March 29, 2014) to begin to say good-bye to our dear church family and friends in Knoxville.
We have accepted a invitation from Southern Adventist University to serve as the University's Coordinator for Evangelism and Missions. This calling came to a surprise to us, our Conference leaders, and church family, but we know that God is the one who opens doors, and leads the way.
Our last Sabbath at Knoxville First will be September 27, in the meantime, we will continue to serve our church family with the same dedication and passion as always.
Pamela and I ask for your prayers as we begin this transition into a new area of ministry, seek to settle in the Collegedale area, and begin this new chapter in our lives.
Friends, continue to cling to Jesus and to share the hope of His soon return. The best is yet to come, because what He has began here in Knoxville First, He is faithful to complete it."
Blessings, Pr. Edgar.
